Syllabus for CLAS Unite 101: The Five Year Plan
Just In!!
Graduate Assistants United, under the Florida Sunshine Laws requested documents surrounding the creation of the Five Year Plan. They have supplied us with some emails acquired because of this request. There are four pages. The emails feature communications about the plan between Dean Sullivan and Provost Fouke. In Fouke 4, Fouke callously suggests that if the Five Year Plan can be pulled off, it would be a "coup." As well, Fouke 4 confirms her desire to shield the Board of Trustees from dissent, and suggests that details of the Five Year Plan were not debatable. The documents are scanned, and they are huge, so they might take a while to load.

1. Compose an email to LISTSERV@LISTS.UFL.EDU (caps not necessary).
2. In the body of the email, cut and paste either or both of the following:
subscribe clasunite-l firstname lastname
subscribe clasuevents-l firstname lastname
3. Replace "firstname" and "lastname" with your first and last name, no quotation marks needed. Clasunite-l is the discussion list; clasuevents-l is the events/announcements only list. You can join either or both.
4. Make sure you are sending the email from the email address you want subscribed to the list.
5. Make sure you do not have any other text in the body of the email (signatures, attachments).
6. No subject line is necessary.
7. Send the email, wait a few minutes, and participate in the listserv.

- Oct 7 Homecoming Week Information Session during which volunteers will carry posters from the protest while handing out flyers to parents, students, and alumni.
